IAARM Certification Mark

A clear sign of conformity with published IAARM requirements.

The IAARM Certification Mark helps professionals, purchasers and the public identify products, facilities or services that hold a current certification for a stated scope. Every mark must link to a verifiable public record.

What the Mark Means

The mark applies only to the subject and claims shown in the public record.

IAARM certification programs assess objective requirements identified in the applicable standard. Depending on the program, these may include identity, purity, contaminant limits, label accuracy, stability, traceability, quality systems or other defined attributes.

Certification of a quality attribute does not establish a therapeutic, anti-aging or clinical benefit unless that specific claim is included in the certified scope. General statements such as “IAARM Approved” are not permitted unless expressly authorized in writing.

What Is Authorized

Every license is specific, time-limited and subject to continuing compliance.

01

Certified Object

The license identifies the exact certified product, product family, facility, service or other defined object.

02

Authorized Claims

Only wording expressly included in the certification record or mark-use approval may accompany the mark.

03

Territory & Channel

Country, language, packaging, website, marketplace and campaign conditions may be restricted.

04

Mark Artwork

The current artwork must be used without alteration and in accordance with the written mark-use requirements issued with the license.

05

Change Notification

Formula, supplier, manufacturing, label, ownership, regulatory or claim changes may require prior reassessment.

06

Termination

Suspension, expiration or withdrawal ends authorized use and triggers removal, notice and evidence-preservation duties.

Continuing Review

Certification continues only while the requirements remain satisfied.

Surveillance may include market sampling, complaint review, public-claim monitoring, change assessment, regulatory-signal review and periodic reassessment. Material nonconformity or misuse may lead to corrective action, scope reduction, suspension, withdrawal and public-status updates.

Review complaints and enforcement

Fees and Independence

Program fees do not purchase certification.

Application, assessment, testing, surveillance and licensing fees support delivery of the program. Certification is awarded only when the applicable requirements are met. Advertising, sponsorship and promotional services have no effect on eligibility, evaluation, the certification decision or public-register status.
